Yeah, I thought about that, too. Asking the owners if I could spend the night there.

Well, unless the building is very new, has had no leaks,etc..

I just can't imagine spending the rest of my life being sick, not able to concentrate.

My life is ABOUT being able to concentrate - I am a professional violinist and I fill in the cracks with either teaching or computer stuff that changes so rapidly. You have to build your reputation on being able to learn and think quickly. You can't say "Uh, I'm having a mold problem at home." They'd probably call the men in the white coats even while this is exactly what I'm dealing with. You, too.

There has to be a better way. Spore plumes or not.

What part of the country do you live in? I can't foresee being able to sleep outside during the winter to see where neighbor's plumes are coming from in frosty New England - they are predicting the worst winter ever. I don't know how I"ll survive being locked into a building with the mold or the cold.

Subject: [] Re: Moving

I moved into a place that had no mold inside at all. I went nutstrying to find it inside until I realized that I was getting "hit"outside, especially when the wind was from the Southwest. I wound upsleeping outside and upwind of the house in various wind directionsuntil I could get a vector on the location of the colony. There wasnothing I could do about it except try to be somewhere else when thewind blew from that direction (I think I talked about this in a postcalled: "Your neighbors spore plume")I've found enough places are drenched in spore plumes from somwhereelse to know that if you are extraordinarily sensitive, even the mostrigorous testing is no guarantee the place will be survivable. The only way to get a sense if any potential dwelling will be safe foryou is to sleep there while it undergoes different wind directions andweather conditions.Isn't this fun?-FAIR USE NOTICE:This site contains copyrighted material the use of which has not always been specifically authorized by the copyright owner. Sure us. Its been "fun" for a year. I am better in this new apartment as it is on the second floor am able to sit outside on the balcony as I am not right next to the ground. No matter WHERE I go, , I will feel and smell the mold in wet dirt. I am seeing a kinesiologist and now my pschycologist recommended someone in Clinical Ecology. Avoidance at all costs is best. At work, they want me to either come back to work or fire me. I will die in one of their buildings now. I am working too hard on getting better smidgen by smidgeon.I am afraid if I return it will go too far backwards to help.

Its hard if you are as hypersensitive as I am to avoid at all costs. I try my best.
