is a little high. Calcium and magnesium is way sky high!! Manganese is above

normal. What is the difference between magnesium and manganese??? Dr.

circled NA/MG (4.17 normal) 0.12 which is 3% Adrenal. What does that

indicate??? >>

Hi Kozy,

Well by your hair analysis, you fit right in with the rest of the group.

Your figures sound pretty much the same as mine were when I was hyper, except

that my mercury was also high. So the reassuring thing is that it's

correctable.

There is a big difference between magnesium (Mg) and manganese (Mn). It's a

good idea to look at the Periodic Table to see where these are in relation to

other elements. Magnesium works with calcium, while manganese works with iron

and is an antagonist of chromium. Magnesium becomes unavailable in hyperT and

that deficit is responsible for much of the heart problems of high heart rate.

Manganese seems to be high in most of the hypers.

Dr. recommended an adrenal support supplement (with manganese) for

another member, who also had high manganese hair levels. She started feeling

much worse until we figured out what was happening and she stopped that

supplement. Manganese is the major reason hypers can't take a multiple. You

don't want to take it.

The low Na/Mg ratio (sodium/magnesium) just means that your sodium is very

low and your magnesium is very high--this appears to be the most disturbed

mineral ratio in hyperT. Why? We don't know yet. I'm not sure what the 3%

adrenal means (ask him), but it probably means that the adrenals are very weak

and not producing aldosterone to keep the sodium high. This is another

mystery I'm working on.

You should take every precaution to avoid aluminum. It's possible that

aluminum gets high because of low copper (aluminum and copper are antagonists)

or it's possible that copper gets low because of high aluminum (or both). We

want to get copper higher and aluminum lower. Reestablishing the proper ratio

of these two metals is vitally important in correcting hyperT. So don't use

commercial salt--aluminum is used to make it flow freely. As Dr. says,

avoid: Anti-perspirants, salt, antacids, aluminum cans (soda and beer),

buffered aspirin, bentonite and other clay products and baking powders and

aluminum cookware.
