Hi all,

Just writing to share what little info I got.

Dr Matman, of " stealth pathogen " fame, finally returned my call.

She was sort of guarded. Stated, " I'm not a doctor and cannot prescribe " .

Evidently she is working on the theory that the stealth pathogens causing the

autoimmune problems are spirochetes ..of the family of bacteria that cause

lymes and syphilis. She is doing research only.

She did give me the name and number of a lab in Florida that does the type of

cultures and is also doing research along those lines.

And she did give me the name of doctor near me who think along the lines of

an infective cause for autoimmune disease.

At any rate I am now on Minocycline 100 mg 2 X day for long term treatment

for arthritis. My rheumatologist suggested it. And, well, after

considering the possibility of a bacterial cause, I decided maybe it is a

good idea. There is an organization called the Road Back that believes the

pathogen is a type of mycoplasm with cell wall deficiency.

I don't know if I spelled spirochetes and mycoplasm correctly; but at any

rate, those animals are not viruses stealth or otherwise.

Actually, I don't know how a virus could be anything but a stealth. I

though they were just a strand of RNA.

I'm happy people are writing again. I missed the info.

Ann
