Guest guest
Belinda Rose, I bet you are very glad to be home and have that surgery behind Cassie. I'm sorry that it was such a problem to remove the old port and hopefully she will heal well. We are expecting sunshine again today in the top of TX, yesterday was lovely. We enjoyed taking our puppy on lots of walks in the neighborhood and a quick trip to the park. (He has been afraid of his leash, associating it with going to the vet.) I know you must have been very worried when the surgery took so much longer than expected. Ben has had a few surgeries and each one took longer than expected and I would worry. I hope Cassie is able to eat by now. Best wishes for a quick recovery. Belinda, Lacey's mom, Your family is so special. I really enjoyed your web-site and all of your girls are just lovely. Thank you for sharing your story. I admire you and your husband. Tell Lacey that our son Ben just turned 15 a couple of weeks ago. He also takes IVIG and has for more than 12 years. It helps him a lot. I hope the 3 week schedule works well for Lacey and that the actual infusion is easier on her next time (hopefully, she will be well at the time). I'm sorry she has been so sick. She is lucky to have such a loving family. Jan
Guest guest
All nonprofits must register with the state and always receive "ruling" letters from the IRS as to the specific type of nonprofit organization the IRS grants that entity(ies). Be it a foundation, nonprofit or charitable (501c3/tax deductible) organization, the IRS decides based on volumes of information and supporting data provided. If an organization, and I don't care who they are, holds themselves out as nonprofit, charitable or a foundation, they must supply such an IRS ruling letter if asked. We got so many inquiries (from the insurance industry) that we posted both our 501c3 and 501c4 IRS status rulings on our homepage (bottom left). And, our tax returns are available from the IRS or, for members, for the asking from me or any other board member. There are serious rules that govern this issue. I am sure that if there is an organization amongst us that is claiming to be charitable or nonprofit/tax exempt, they would happily produce the IRS ruling letter(s). If not, they won't be in business long and the board members/directors may be liable for back taxes owed, if any. We use yoghurt, others use quark, kefir, buttermilk...... cottage cheese is not the only option. Also, some people do not convert the ALA in flaxseed oil and will find benefit in the converted from fish oil.
Guest guest
MJH, Are you saying it is better to be on the fish oil instead of flax? For the fish oil will help convert the Ala in my body to help fight against other diseases??? And fish oil would have to be mixed with a dairy product instead of taking the flax oil capsules like I do. Which it will benefit me more? > In a message dated 11/11/04 8:29:46 AM Eastern Standard Time, > writes: > > > Date: Wed, 10 Nov 2004 23:58:09 -0000 > > From: angel_lts@y... > > Subject: Re: Flaxseed Oil for seizures and more > > > > > > Arnold, Yes I belong to this group also. Guest guest
>Looking for a Dr. and/or encouragement and ideas > Laboratory values usually have to be age and race adjusted in relation to hypogonadism. Do not ever confuse 'normal' with 'within reference range'. I've no idea if Boca Raton is in south Florida or not, but you could start with that doctor or use any search engine for an endocrinologist. From what you describe, I would be most concerned about LH values. __________________________________ - PC Magazine Editors' Choice 2005 http://mail.
