Guest guest
Mac> What a disgrace! Only 26 of our United States Congressmen have signed on to Mac> support Congressman Conyers' HR 1268: The US Toxic Mold Safety and Mac> Protection Act! This is not a good sign. EVERYONE READING THIS: CALL OR EMAIL Mac> YOUR MEMBER OF CONGRESS AND TELL THEM YOU EXPECT THEM TO PROTECT THE HEALTH OF Mac> HIS/HER CONSTITUENTS BY SUPPORTING THIS LEGISLATION. There can be no excuse Mac> for our elected officials not to work on protecting our health and addressing Mac> this issue, that is, unless they are protecting someone else's interests. Mac> Don't let them off the hook. You said it: " protecting someone else's interests " . Mac> Again, thank you to the elected officials who are trying to help. We are Mac> grateful to you. Be VERY grateful for these politicians are literally fighting with their lives to help us. By opposing the sinister cabal, they put their lives on the line. Each of us needs to be armed with the truth about this " new world disorder " . Guest guest
My elected Officials in Maine have known my difficult past year with this mold illness from a federal building. They turn their cheek, do not look and do not help. I will never vote again Janet
Guest guest
, I agree with what you are saying but the issue is money. These politicians get campaign money from insurance companies, realtors, builders and others fighting the problem. According to Congressional Records, much of Ted Kennedy's campaign money is from the health and insurance industry. I have asked him to help America with the Mold issue but he remains quiet. Some of those involved in Massachusetts are his personal friends. Somebody from the EPA told me he won't let them do anything either and it is he who recommends them for their jobs. The issue with Conyers is money. He doesn't know how much his bill will cost and it picks up part of the tab for the insurance companies. A year and a half ago I asked what the price tag for his bill would be and he never replied. In my opinion, while he means well his bill will never pass. In Massachusetts all of the politicians are covering up the issue. This includes the Governor, AG, IG, Beacon Hill, Public Health and Safety, DEP and the local governments. When the man responsible for inspectors throughout the state is found by the state to be unqualified to hold his job and nobody will fire him that should speak volumes. When he ignores requests from the AG and Legislature, and they close investigations because of his refusal, he should be indicted for obstruction. Remember it is Tom that will be mostly in charge should the Toxic Mold issue if the O'Leary bill pass. They have rigged the playing field and they know it and don't care. I have seven bills before Beacon Hill and not one of them has been allowed a hearing. Five of them were filed before O'Leary filed his. So much for honest and fair government in Massachusetts. There is a smell in Massachusetts Government and it is not the MOLD! Ken Moulton
