I also have been using Heritage OliveOil based shampoo. This is working great as a preventive. My daughter has yet to be reinfested since adding this shampoo. I think any Olive or coconut oil based shampoo would do the same thing. The thing I did not see in the article is that Head Lice are becoming resistant. Problem is, frustrated parents will tend to want to re- treat after a Pesticide Lice treatment has failed and just 'leave it on longer this time'. Before I knew better, I used NIX or some other garbage on my Daughter and she had bald spots on her head for a year!!
