Guest guest
Hi, , >Jerry, do you have any more info on this?? Salt in general does not bother >me or make me dizzy so I can't figure out why the evian water makes me so >dizzy? I do have viral problems, HHV6, etc. I haven't done a thorough search - it was brought to my attention from someone I know here who is going thru a bad viral labyrinthitis flare and is exquisitely sensitive to sodium. Just a general viral infection is not going to give this type of result - it has to specifically involve the labyrinth, part of the inner ear involved in balance. These are noninvasive and may well help you deal with that blood flow problem. Charlie's Mom

Although I've had my ci for 17+ years, I have not had an easy time adjusting to my new 3G. I've had three mappings. At one of the mappings, I asked my audiologist what " normal " hearing was...I just have no basis for comparison...is anything I hear like what normal hearing folks hear? She said not to worry about that. I had my third mapping session in December. The map has been too loud for much of the time since then, and I've been having a difficult time finding just the right setting... then, just within the past few days, the map " clicked " and is now working quite well for me. It always takes me so long to get used to a new map and it's always a big adjustment. I may try to go back for one more mapping because, while P1 can be very loud, P2 has gotten rather soft. , congratulations on your successful hookup experience...your description had me in tears by time I reached the end of your post. One question: where in your big city do you live (streets, area?) I'm curious cuz it's my hometown and maybe we can meet one of these days when I go back for a visit. I'm glad there is such good public transportation...I used to take the streetcar and bus to school and work years ago... met my husband at UWM when it was a 2 year school. He went on to the 4 year university in another city, while I finished up at the big downtown university. I worked at the downtown library...wonder if it's still there. I'm not identifying the city or colleges in case you prefer not to divulge your location online. Keep your wonderful postings coming!!! And take time to build a snowman and to throw some snowballs at and Gimlet ....muriel in fort worth (glad we don't have to shovel that foot of snow!)
