Yhis is not the ONLY thing we have to worry about. What about thenew Medical

students who don't even know what lyme disease is let alone treat it! That's

where the problem is. I think we should/have to advocate and push more

education in the medical schools, nursing schools, ( I am an RN and I did not

learn about lyme, I learned what HIV was though!) etc...., that is what I

think. FrancineRN NJ

Hi,

Francine, you are an RN who did not learn about Lyme in nursing school.

I am a Certified Medical Assistant who, also, did not learn about Lyme in CMA

school.

Yup, did learn about HIV.

The problem is pervasive.

I agree, medical students AND currently practicing physicians need to learn

about Lyme & associated tick-borne diseases, preferably more than a 2 hour

lecture.

Hugs,

In regards to LDN compounding fillers, my pharmacist

is going to try rice with my next perscription, instead

of lactose, of which I am allergic. Anyone heard about

rice being slow acting or fast acting. Of course, he

said it should be fine. Any one knows anything, let me

know. Thanks.
