Guest guest
Kim, Ask your ophthalmologist about the MSM drops, although if he's like most conventional docs, he might not even be familiar with them. As long as there are no warnings on them and there are no ingredients like phenylephrine, I wouldn't think they could hurt anything. They're similar to REFRESH. What I notice is that the drops relieve the soreness and the brochure that came with them said they prevent the kind of tissue changes that leads to cataracts. If you check the archives from graves_support from about a year ago (maybe someone knows the exact number) there are several posts from B describing the alternative approach she used for treating GD. She was under the supervision of a naturopath and a herbalist I think. Anyway, she was simultaneously checked out by an endo at Mayo Clinic who agreed she was in remission, although he didn't go as far as to agreee that her alternative approach worked. has been an inspiration to countless Graves' patients.
