Guest guest
Hello, Wow, I found a site that's main focus is mold. I've been reading post and hearing stories and systems like my own. I lived in an apartment that has toxic mold on the furnace coils. Breathing that stuff in for about 6 years. Most of the time I was going crazy trying to find out why I kept getting sicker and sicker. Doctors were not help. They just wanted to medicate me with this and that. I refused and kept to my instinct that I needed to know why and not mask the systems. After becoming intolerant to medication (aspirin and etc.), beauty products, household cleaners and many foods. I had nothing left to take out of my environment, so it had to be my environment. Then, I got so ill I couldn't walk or hardly breath. Ask someone to come and get me and I never went back. Left everything behind and started over from scratch. Found a testing agency that came out and done an air test and samples. That's when I knew what my whole problem was. At the time I left I could only tolerate apples, pears and pecans. Now six months later I can eat more things. But, nothing fast food or processed and still most vegetables give me a problem. I haven't found a doctor that understand mold. What I'm told is to just wait it off. I have a MCS now. I would like to sue the apartment place, because several years before I told them that I think mold is on the furnace coils and they sent a worker out and he took a sample and called me back and told me that it's just dirt. Now he called me back less then 10 minutes after he left and now I know that a mold test takes longer then that and he really done nothing. Plus, I think mold was created, because the furnace coils froze and he would fix it by thawing them with a hairdryer. If I only knew what I know now. I complained of a must smell and they said they can't smell it. Sure wish I knew that a musty smell means mold. The mold testers said that we didn't have amounts of mold that were anything to be concerned about. But, I looked at a site and it said we had medium levels of mold. The amounts were clearing more then 4xs that of the outside air. So, how in the world could he say that about the air. Well, the lawyer dropped our case after he received a letter form the mold testers saying that it wasn't that high. Did anyone have any luck in suing? It's just not right that I lost all my stuff, but most inportant my health.
