Salem school dealing with mysterious sickness

Teachers, students, and staff members have been getting sick at a

Salem school and no one knows what's causing it.

It's happening at Judson Middle School on road SE.

More than 80 people have complained of breathing problems,

headaches, dizziness and even bloody noses.

But the Salem-Keizer school district says mold, formaldehyde and

bacteria readings are not at toxic levels.

State health experts have tested the air inside the school and

results are expected in three weeks.

Regardless of the results of the testing, there is no standard

established for safe levels of mold. If that many people are ill with

that type of illness, it IS the building.
