Guest guest
Hello , Great!!! I will keep on taking copper if it will help my heart. Did you have to take antibiotics before going to the dentist?? Did that worry you some?? It makes me nervous taking them... I haven't been to the dentist for a long time. I never had problems with MVP. It is interesting to see more and more others have come forward with this and they too have it. That is seems alarming to have MVP along with everyone who has thyroid problems. On another matter, I go to the Chiropractor once a week and it seems that my body does NOT hold together that it supposed to be doing. Lately, for the past couple of weeks, I seemed to have heart palpating sometimes. I notice this when I feel that my back is off and now I feel that my ribs are sticking out. Is there any supplements that can make my body hold together?? Calcium?? to make strong bones?? Or should I start lifting weights to build the muscles to hold my body together?? I've been trying hard to keep my body from falling apart and I hate going back to the Chiropractor every week and wasting my money on this. I would welcome any suggestions. Thanks. Guest guest
Hi Kozy.....I take antibiotics before dental work (spent 3 hrs in chair yesterday). I also take calicum to protect the bones. can better tell you what you should take calcium with. Most dentist won't work on you if they know you have to premedicate and you forget your pills. I guess better safe than sorry. mona Re: MVP & Chiropractic Hello , Great!!! I will keep on taking copper if it will help my heart. Did you have to take antibiotics before going to the dentist?? Kozy >> Hi Kozy, I never took antibiotics before going to the dentist. I think the whole danger of getting an infection in the heart from dental work is greatly overblown. It reminds me of a time when friends told me their experience when their dog got a foxtail (sticker) in its foot. When they took the dog to the vet to have it removed the vet told them that it was a good thing that they brought the dog in because the foxtail would work its way into the blood stream and go straight to the heart and kill the dog. What a laugh! There are a lot of " old doctor stories " that seem to have a life of their own and are not supported by any evidence whatsoever. Heart disease in MVP from viruses introduced during dental work may be one of these. As you probably well know, chiropractic will not strengthen your body. Only your body can rebuild itself and it need the proper nutrients to do that. When you have structural problems, the first two nutrients to look at are copper and iron. These two minerals have been the key to life since it began and are critically important to most of our body processes. Copper is essential to form the whole structure of our bodies from the bones to the tissues to the hair. Without copper you get osteoporosis, muscle breakdown, and the blood vessels will break. This is why copper deficiencies are involved in various conditions like hernias (muscle fiber breakdown) and aneurysms (blood vessel bursting). If your back is continually going out of alignment, then there are deficiencies which are preventing connective tissue growth. These connective tissues and joints are critically dependent on copper, iron, zinc, sulfur, and other trace elements.
Guest guest
JOHN..SINCE YOU ARENT REALLY SURE ABOUT THE DENIST MEDS BEFORE DENTAL WORK ,SHOULDNT MOST PEOPLE TAKE THEM ANYWAY, JUST IN CASE YOU ARE WRONG? IT SEEMS THAT YOU ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND ALOT OF PEOPLE REALLY LISTEN TO YOU , INCLUDING ME. BUT TAKING A CHANCE WITH THE HEART SEEMS DANGEROUS. IF ALL IT REQUIRES IS A FEW PILLS TO PROTECT YOUSELF, I THINK IT IS WORTH TAKING THEM. BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY..NANCY
