Guest guest
That's another swell one Beverly. We should put together a collection of Dumb Doctor stories. I wanted to keep the She-doctor story short and I didn't tell you what she said when I mentioned chronic fatigue syndrome. She said " I don't believe there is any such thing as CFS because we don't know what it is " . Upon seeing my expression of jaw dropping shock at this statement she quickly tried to backpedal and said " Well if it turns out that there really IS a CFS, it will be something that we already know about! " " We " obviously not including her because she doesn't seem to " already know " about it. The really rewarding part about having this sensitivity is perceiving mold in a vast number of doctors offices with the occupants clearly manifesting symptoms. I had one receptionist in a CFS specialists office walk right up to me and hold her hand up to her head in what Dr Shoemaker calls " the Pfiesteria Salute " and say " I'm so tired, I don't know why " as if she could sense that I knew exactly why she was so tired. Some of the world famous doctors I've fought with about this who told me " that's impossible " have now become " experts " themselves and are counseling people about mold - never called me back, of course. -
Guest guest
" Just what the doctor ordered " . That's hilarious and it goes to show that many doctors don't think for themselves and only reach for whatever the pharmaceutical company that bought their last fancy dinner and dropped off free samples recommended. I'm sure that doctor just " happened " to have that nasal spray sample laying around. I call doctors who are completely lacking in diagnostic skills and only refer to their manuals without question " Running Doctor Lackeys of American Pharmaceuticalism " . Good thing you checked the directions. -
Guest guest
Just today we called our family doctor to check on a medication that we found contains yellow 5 and 6. She said she did not have time to look up all the ingredients !!!! It was up to the Pharmacy to do that..... ! The pharmacy when told this said that a RX is filled with whatever is written on the RX ! ........who do we trust ??? Neither one if we want to be sure what is in it we need to look at the info sheets ourselves and reject the RX before we pay for it. You cannot return a RX ! Or so they say!!!!
