RE: question on type of mold

Lyn,

I have this type of mold on some of my carpet padding and on the cement floor. I was told it was "rust mold" that occurs mostly within drainage pans, ventilation ducts and sometimes even on cement. There is a proper name for it but I am not quite sure what that is. I will have to find the original paperwork. It is an allergenic mold but not toxic, but to me anything beyond a certain level is dangerous. I was told the colonies were more than 20 and that was considered contamination.
