Rashes and Strokes

I was describing my harrowing mold experience to a fellow mountain

biker (while riding the incredible Downieville Downhill) and got a

story in return.

She had all the customary symptoms and usual doctor denials.

Yes she had the rash too.

And finally despite all the doctors contradictions, denials and

protestations of the sheer impossibilty of mold reactivity, she

finally came to the same conclusion that a lot of us did and decided

to take her own steps to remediate mold in her basement.

She found that the carpet on the cement slab had been soaked and

suspicionated that this might be a good thing to get rid of.

While tearing it up she found that the padding was full of black mold.

But instead of feeling better, the dispersal of spores all over made

her doubly sick (though she didn't know that at the time thanks to

all the bad advice from " helpful experts " on how to deal with mold)

So she was brushing her teeth the next morning in the bathroom and

that's the last thing she remembered when she woke up lying on the

floor in the afternoon. Remember, this is a mountain biker in her

early forties lying there with a stroke that left her partially

paralyzed on one side of her body for a few months. Of course the

doctors took a " Chit happens " approach and never helped her explore

the mycotoxin connection even though she described it to them and

expressed her suspicion that the timing of her stroke after dealing

with a mold that seemed to be making her sick must surely have been a

factor.

Very similar to my experience at St s hospital in Reno where I

told them all about the mold after going there for a cardiac workup

directly after a " Mold Slam " and was referred to a shrink.

To me that's especially funny because St s has its own mold

problems now and many of the staff are aware of it yet they dare not

talk to the doctors for fear of losing their jobs.

It seems as thought the doctors are going to be the very last to know

thanks to their intransigence and psychotic denial of reality.
