Oprah Winfrey is 200lbs DEC08

For some reason the fact that Oprah Winfrey is 200lbs is headline news today.

I remember last year a blip in the news that she was hyper, gained weight,

stopped what she was doing because of the weight gain (I should have stopped my

meds when I noticed my weight gain), and took a vacation.

Does anybody know if she is back on meds or had RAI for her hyperthyroidism

and that might have something to do with her weight gain.

Hummm, when I was HYPER I actually lost 20lbs not gained

So did I until I started taking the methimazole. Then I gained weight like I had

never before. Both my endo and my PCP told me it was not the meds they had me

take but my lifestyle, which hadn't changed.
