Guest guest
Dr. Klein, I am looking at your website and plan to read a bit there. I have had severe knee pain which is almost constant since May of this year following one month of Levaquin for Lyme disease. I notice you are an "arthopod." Are you familiar with this side effect of quinolones? I have had an MRI of my knees thinking some tendon damage would show up. The pain is in the tendons or their attachment to bone. I am not a happy camper as this latest insult has occurred after years of being treated for a mycoplasma infection using Zithromax which did me nothing but GOOD. Now being treated for borrelia and babesia I have had two quinolones, and they seem to have caused the damage. I also am beginning to realize I do have some sort of sensitivity to toxins in certain buildings. It doesn't help that two of these buildings are doctors' offices where my blood pressure goes ski high like 160 over 110. Everyplace else on earth my bp is normal. Anyway, just wondering if you had any experience with the quinolone damage. I am finding others with CNS damage from quinolones as well - eye problems, anxiety attacks, brain confusion. Sounds like sick building only it's not. a Carnes
