Guest guest
Hello, To answer your questions....I was not taking any prescription drugs while on any of their products.? And I don't really know about its effects on my T4 because I only took it for a couple of weeks. A few words of caution.....Here's my story on it ~?After treating my hyperT and getting it down....way down....one of my alt med drs recommended Thytrophin PMG to help me get my levels back up a hair.? I did not do good on it.? Had some hyperT symptoms, eye problems and such.? After checking around on the message boards it was speculated that this product probably still contains some T3, even though the T4(Thyroxine) has been processed out.? There are some thyroid extracts that do contain some T3 and not T4.? Some people said they had problems?anytime their T3 levels were out of balance with their T4 levels(T3 toxic?).? Also, this imbalance could affect antibody production ~ in turn causing eye and skin irritations.? Something to think about if your hyperT or hypoT are autoimmune related.? I would definitely work with a dr that is not afraid to run frequent labs to monitor how your system responds to it. So needless to say I quit taking it and the problems went away.? I do think it has some T3 in it possibly causing T3 overload. (My own opinion of course.)? Overall though the Standard Process products are a good resource.? I have?had success with their Drenamin for adrenal support . Hope this helps you some, Take care Kim : ) Please help - Thytrophin PMG Hi, I'm a newbie. Has anyone used Thytrophin PMG by Standard Process without drugs? And was it effective in normalizing T4? Thanks for the info.
