That is what I am hoping. I have the very few possessions that I want to keep in storage like pictures, some dishes, shelves and momentos. I am hoping that if I leave them in there a while, they will smell better and the mold will dissapate over time. I am also wondering if they will get worse because of the dark, non temperature controlled environment. I would think that the mold would die in the winter if it was cold enough to freeze everything in the storage unit. I am not sure what if anything will happen to the pictures. I sure don't want to lose those... to me those are irreplaceable.

Rose,

why don't you find a friend with a scanner and scan the pictures so you at least have something in the future if you should have to throw the originals away.

As for the lawyer, if you get one on a contingency fee, they won't charge you any money up front. They get a third of whatever money you may win in the lawsuit.
