Guest guest
This is the Company which makes Novi-guard. This does kill mold and leaves a protective barrier on the surface for a time so Mold will not regrow. I have been using it for two years and have found it seems to be the only thing which actually kills it. Unfortunately you can now only buy it in a 22 oz. bottle, as they can't ship less than 25 cases of the gallon size. When I could get the gallon size I put it in a pump up garden sprayer. Yesterday I found an area around my roof open to the outside inwhich I sprayed inside with the product then fixed the roof. That area in the building is better already. Novi-guard is strong and you will need a good mask while using it. It may buy all of you time, while you fix your homes. alphamedpharm.com From: "tigerpaw2c" Reply- Subject: [] Mold Solutions Date: Thu, 30 Oct 2003 03:59:25 -0000 MIME-Version: 1.0 X-Originating-IP: 166.102.69.86 Received: from n20.grp.scd. There is new research coming out constantly and I have a feeling hopefully within the next few months many things are going to start moving rapidly from all standpoints. Trying to keep up daily with the changes as far as treatment, human illness, remediation and construction at times can be very consuming and nearly impossible. We must continue trying to inform and help others that are not aware of new articles. Speaking to many people across the US on a continuous basis one of the first questions from a homeowner is, "what can I use to kill mold." And at times the simplest questions can be the most difficult, because many of the expert have different opinions. Bleach may kill certain molds to a point, but you are also dealing with the off gasing or the chemicals of bleach that may affect the individual also. I have just heard from several experts that white vinegar and peroxide kill mold. The white vinegar is not as toxic as the clorine bleach is and is a good disinfectant for normal everyday use. I do not have any documented research at this time on white vinegar. So for the last 6 months I have been doing some of my own simple experiments using white vinegar on all sorts of mold, mildew, fungus and mushrooms outdoors. Using small amounts, not deluted, on everything that I have sprayed it on it has seemed to kill. Just one drop on a large mushroom the next day it was dead. I wish I knew for sure if it neutralized the toxins in any way. I am a bit concerned because WV does go through a fermentation process. I have also recently come across several people that have been using it to soak their feet and hands because of toenail and fingernail fungus. In a short period of time it has seemed to have helped and in one case completely disappeared. I know without taking something internally that is will most likely return if they don't keep up with periodic treatment. So I must say the results that I have had and others there might be some possibilies here. I also do not want to raise anyones expectations that this is a cureall. I just believe it is a little bit safer than bleach. If anyone comes across any information on new procedures please inform the rest of us. Other than high costing chemicals being sold by remediation companies. Dr.Lipsey or any other professionals I welcome your opinion.
