I've read the book and was intrigued as well. There is a group here

at called BIK for 'brain injured kids'. It is a group

of families who have been to the Institutes or are interested in

going. Many of the families have switched to NACD...the organization

run by Glenn Doman's nephew (started by his brother who broke away

from the Institutes). It is very similiar to IAHP in it's philosophy

and practices except that it is much more family friendly. At the

Institutes you do the entire program everyday or they want nothing to

do with you...it is VERY demanding. NACD works with you to get a

schedule you can live with that incorporates most of the Institutes

program. Plus, NACD travels the country so they are much more

accessible. They see you for an initial eval, then you meet with the

every 4 months for a re eval and program tune up. Hope some of this

THANKS NAN. I will join that group to see what I can find out. the NACD

sounds like it may be better for us. We have four children (11,8, 5 (Karly)

and 2) I know the patterning is very demanding and I don't know if I can get

the help to do it.
