Guest guest
Thank you for the information, ! The jaw infection started after an intra-osseous vasoconstricting anaesthetic (injected into the mandible after a hole had been drilled into it, in case some readers wonder what that is!). I of course was inhaling spores, mycotoxins, etc before and after this, as well as after the eventual consequence of molar removal and debridement of the mandible...so who knows what got in there during those opportunities. The address of the persons interested in mold's potential role in osteomyelitis was lost along with my old hard drive. I mentioned the mold situation and my antibody results to the ENT surgeons, but they expressed that mold was not relevant, so apparently they won't consider this factor in treatment. This concerns me. I am currently taking Oregano oil and Grapefruit seed extract, hope they are strong enough for whatever my myco situation is (besides having the high antibodies to so many toxic molds). Is there any online information on the 2003 Toxic Mold Conference presentations? Guest guest
Just before I got sick, I had four abcessed teeth removed and a root canal that got so infected that my face looked like the elephant man. My kinisiologist feels this lowered my immunity enough for all the mold I had exposed to ,to "setle in". Janet
Guest guest
This is sort of scary. As if anything about this hasn't been scary. I don't know if this relates to what you have written or it's from the antifungals and antibiotic for a klebsiella overgrowth I was found to have, but I have been having such extreme tooth sensitivity that I can hardly eat cold or hot foods. At first it was just in one tooth, but now it's my whole mouth. I thought also that since I've had ongoing sinus problems despite all the flonase and zyrtec, that it could be sinus related - but my whole mouth? What comes to mind is that just before my worst mold related illnesses (where I thought I was going to die), I'd had a wisdom tooth removed. The tooth next to this area has been the first to feel painful and hypersensitive - but the extraction was over a year ago. ----- Original Message ----- From: vogel_frau Sent: Thursday, November 06, 2003 2:16 PM Subject: [] Bone infections and mold? Stachy antibody test? Hi everyone,Does anyone know where to get antibody testing for stachy? Is this the way to show it is affecting you? I have "sky-high" antibodies to a long list of others via Immunoscience testing, am trying to get moved out of a very toxic apt. If I had somewhere else to go, I'd be there. Hope to be out of here in matter of weeks.Among the things that have happened to me here is severe hormonal disruption (zearalone? sp?) and infection in sinuses and bones in jaw (and face? neck? pain throughout).I remember awhile back on another list, someone posted about a dentist doing research about mold exposure and bone infections in the jaws (osteomyelitis). Does anyone have any info on this, causation, diagnosis, treatment? What antibiotics should be avoided when one has toxic mold exposures? With wishes for healing and justice for all (on BOTH "sides" of this horrific mold travesty),JoFAIR USE NOTICE:This site contains copyrighted material the use of which has not always been specifically authorized by the copyright owner. Guest guest
I am new to this group and find it amazing that so many have teeth and jaw pain. I have had this for years since moving out of my moms home. It has been better and worse and is accompanied by hives and fibromyalgia. Are you all sick like this from mold? I never thought I would figure out what is wrong with me and now I am reading stuff I could have written. Thanks ----- Original Message ----- From: Stensrud Sent: Sunday, November 09, 2003 12:17 AM Subject: Re: [] Bone infections and mold? Stachy antibody test? This is sort of scary.
