Guest guest
Debbie, Be careful. Please do not experiment on yourself with vitamins or a diet without professional guidance. Use our Bookmark section resources to get all kinds of professional feedback. If you have never seen a copy of your personal medical records, request a copy and read it. You may be surprised at what you learn about yourself that your doctor never told you. I know I certainly was enlighted when I read mine for the first time last year (and I have had epilepsy for more than 35 years). A lot of people with epilepsy are clueless as to why they have the condition and what it is that triggers their seizures. However, you might be surprised at what you learn about yourself healthwise if you start asking lots of questions and demanding answers. Indeed, second opinions can prove to be life transforming. Because I finally got around to asking the right people the right questions, I was able to become drug-free after having been on prescription medication for the control of gran mal seizures for 34 years. In my case, the folks who opened my eyes to the truth regarding my epileptic condition was s-Reiter . If you have never visited their website, I encourage you to take a look. Then, ask some very specific questions. You will get in return a personal answer from their head of their director of therapy research, Dr. Donna s. Believe me, such attention would be expected from a clinic patient. But, in my opinion, s-Reiter goes the second mile for people with epilepsy - whether they become patients or not. Believe it or not, this clinic - which treats nothing but epilepsy and conducts ongoing research - will review medical records at no-charge for people who are simply interested in their evaluation of the medical condition. Yes, qualified professional help is out there. Indeed, there is a lot to be said for the A-S-K Method - Ask...Seek..Knock. That's how problems are solved and folks improve their " quality of life. " It's a learning process...and we're never too old to learn. Good luck. Lamar Debbie Michalski wrote: > This is the 1st time I noticed vitamins can help seizures. Guest guest
I started using a 3-step system from Home Health products that are based on the writings og Edgar Cayce that might be worth a try. I tried their basic shampoo and LOVED it, never had my hair feel as soft or clean without any foreign-feeling ingredients in it. That was Oliva - Olive Oil and Aloe Vera shampoo. Then discovered they had products for hairloss. I've been using them about 10 days and like them, but it takes time (maybe up to 6-9 months I've read) to see if you're getting any results. Most people get impatient and quit too early. The products are listed below. There's also a good article linked at the bottom from Cayce.com about hairloss with some good info. I think iherb and Vitaminshoppe carry HH products. Links are just for illustration and have good product descriptions. 1) Hairever 1 Cleansing Scalp Treatment http://www.evitamins.com/product.asp?pid=2410 2) Hairever Shampoo http://www.evitamins.com/product.asp?pid=2412 3) Hairever 2 Hair and Scalp Vitamin Tonic http://www.evitamins.com/product.asp?pid=2411 Other HH shampoos: Oliva - Olive Oil & Aloe Vera http://www.evitamins.com/product.asp?pid=2414 Everclean Dandruff Shampoo http://www.evitamins.com/product.asp?pid=2408 Chamovera Shampoo (Getting this one next - sounds great) http://www.evitamins.com/product.asp?pid=2407 Other Home Health Products: http://www.evitamins.com/product_grid.asp? brandid=Home+Health+Products or http://snipurl.com/1r0jc Edgar Cayce sites: http://www.internatural-edgar-cayce.com/ http://www.cayce.com/ Hairloss article w/recommended products: http://www.cayce.com/636cayce.htm Best, > > Hi all, > As you all have read, I have some problems with my liver. I have some other problems that I havent brought up but figured I should see how you feel about this one. I Know that coconut oil is good for the body..inside and out..great for rashes..but how about the scalp? I have a problem with hair loss..actually a tremendous amount of hair loss. I have always had a thick THICK head of hair until about 2 years ago. Now I am down to a " childs ponytail " . It is depressing and really need some help with this. I have been to a dermatologist and he said I would never lose all this hair but I dont think he knows what he was talking about..duh..2 years and it is still falling out..Tonight I am putting coconut oil on my hair and scalp and cover it with a cap..maybe I have an infection on my scalp. I know I have a sore scalp and get " bumps " on my scalp, as well as hair loss..Can you give me some advice? thanks Marcy
