Guest guest Posted August 19, 2004 Report Share Posted August 19, 2004 Stanley Steemer will use plain water/steam if you ask them to. You have to be very specific about it. They tried with us to use something else mixed in to the water that would have made me sick. It dried very quickly, I didn't have any worries about mold. -Sara. I used to use them twice a year... maybe google search ...hazards of chemdry or carpet cleaners..
