Guest guest
RE: Cleveland, OH and Missouri Stachybotrys cases Thought some of you might be interested in watching or taping if you've never seen this before. Wednesday, 3/10/04 at midnight, Discovery Health Channel aired their 2003 version of Diagnosis: Unknown, Home Invasion mostly regarding the babies in Cleveland that were developing bleeding lungs in 1994 and subsequent years. The show will air again on Friday 3/12/04 at 5:00 a.m. and Sunday 3/14/04 at 6:00 p.m. See the link below: http://health.discovery.com/schedule/episode.jsp?episode=11 & cpi=85806 & gid=0 & chan\ nel=DHC It was a bit of a different version than what I've seen before. The one interesting thing is that they don't include that the CDC retracted their original statements. I guess that allows for people to make up their own mind if they think these molds in homes, schools and workplaces are likely harmful based on the medical findings in Cleveland and elsewhere. It features Dr. Dorr Deaborn (with his name spelled wrong on air) of Cleveland and Dr. Ruth Etzel, formerly with the CDC, who these days I hear doesn't talk candidly publicly about the connections between mold and health. I'm sure this is the old taping from years ago just being aired over and over. An interesting quote from Etzel was " We learned that animals had died because of eating Stachybotrys-contaminated grains and such so why couldn't babies die from breathing it as well? " In case there are people in Missouri looking for a doctor, it also featured Dr. Jay Portnoy that had cases of bleeding lungs in his area as well. I don't know the reputation, but thought I'd pass that along. It also features Flappan, an industrial hygienist in the Missouri area that seemed to be understanding of the true extent of problems. _________________________________________________________________ One-click access to Hotmail from any Web page – download MSN Toolbar now! http://clk.atdmt.com/AVE/go/onm00200413ave/direct/01/
