Guest guest
Most planes in the States receive pesticide spraying at some point. California, and Florida like Hawaii have large fruit crops, Washington has apples! etc. I suggest that you talk to your Doctor about having oxygen supplied for your journey, and I always make sure I have my rescue medications before I go anywhere. I know with the 9/11 crisis it is hard to get oxygen onboard yourself, but if it is delivered to the gate and plane that day for you, there is no problem. One other thing you may want to ask your travel agent to find out for you if you intend to visit the pineapple fields, flower growers etc. Is when they spray the fields and gardens. They do not use DDT in Hawaii nor the Cont. STates anymore, but I react to the sprays they still use. I keep water with me at all times, and charcoal capsules, heperin or benedryl and prednisone, with rescue shot incase of chemical exposure. Good luck and enjoy Hawaii. --- In , " M. Guest guest
I would be interested in more information about planes. I tend to feel terrible after flying, especially when I have to fly over 3 hours. a Most planes in the States receive pesticide spraying at some point. Guest guest
a: You are probably reacting to not only the spray they use at most airline stops, but the re-cycled air is bad. There is a website, (I'll locate it and post it in the links section of the group) that talks about the poor air quality on airliner's. Ren > I would be interested in more information about planes.
