Guest guest
My advice on bringing remediated items into your new living arrangements is to put everything in storage. Then bring in only one item at a time and assess any change in your perception of exposure. Some things will be more unbearable than others. But remember that it is the sum total of exposure that puts you over the edge and that if overt symptoms reappear, it might not just be a reaction to just the last object reintroduced. It might be crossing the threshold of tolerance of the combined possessions. Infrequently removing the last source of exposure lowers the reactivity enough to restore some comfort but more often the resensitization will reinstate sensitivity to lesser exposures and necessitate removal of a great number of " remediated " possessions. Bringing contaminated/remediated possessions wholesale into a sensitized persons presence is playing with fire. Be careful. -
