First, hugs to those who are so sick. I still am sick and some of what I have I

won't

recover from. When I went to the restoration company located in Fairfield Ca, I

found

out a few shocking things. They store the cotaminated items at a storage unit

called

mini u storage. I couldn't stay in long enough to go though my possessions. I

inquired at the front desk and was told although Custom Restorations was a

frequent

customer that once they were done with a unit, that anyone could rent it. Great,

store

your stuff in a unit that contains items containing toxic mold... penicillium

aspergillus, niger and god knows what else was there beforemy belongings were

placed there. Or who will rent that unit after my stuff is moved out. They did

say CR (

a DKI franchise) was very generous with them. I bet they are. They appeared from

my

conversation to have no idea that items with mold ( boxes opened--articles

placed on

the floor with no covering) were being used for storage. There was an large pile

of

things they claimed they could not clean--and with reason. They use an ozone

chamber, contract clothing out to a cleaners and contract the electrical work

out to

someone else. Not like the site they advertise. One of the reasons I am posting

these

things now is that if we settle they may ask for a " gag clause " . I would like to

make an

example of these companies and I will continue to investigate, call the DA etc.,

for as

long as my health will allow me. I don't know how long that will be. Thanks for

the

support, and to those searching for answers and health-- you are all in my

prayers.

Lori K.
