Hi Helen, This is CB (Carole) ...DMARD means- disease modifying

antirheumatic drugs (ie. methotrexate, azulfidine, etc.) and NSAIDS means-

non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (celebrex, vioxx, advil, etc.) MSM is

- Methylsulfonylmethane which is not a medicine, a drug or food additive. It

comes from the ocean and is water soluble . It helps the cells from becoming

rigid and lets toxins, etc. pass thru easily. Found in Health Food stores,

pharmacies...probably in vitamin isle. Hope this info helped you. Regards,

CB (Carole)

Hi Helen,

NSAID=Non-Steroidal Anti-Infammatory Drug

Covers a large group of drugs, the most common being

aspirin, that for whatever reason decrease

inflammation and pain.

DMARD=Disease Modifying Anti-Rheumatiod Drug

These drugs, for whatever reason, effect the course of

these diseases. Most common is MTX, more recent

include Enbrel, Remicade.

I'm on both, NSAID(Indocin) and DMARD(MTX), Basically

NSAIDs are prescribed to people with more minor pain

or if their pain comes and goes. If a person has

chronic pain and especially joint deformity(lucky me)

they get the DMARD. MTX lists lots of POTENTIAL side

effects but so far I've tolerated it well(2 years). I

emphasize potential since many people seem to read up

on these and are afraid to try what for most people is

a quality of life saving drug. One other quick point

regarding MTX, many of the side effects listed relate

to the mega-doses cancer patients use when undergoing

chemotherapy, not the comparitively low doses used to

control PA.

Stay well

p.s. Don't know about MSM enough to comment, It's a

dietary supplement without any hard medical research

behind it.

=====

Thai women taught to dance their way to bigger breasts

A new initiative is being launched in Thailand to help Thai women boost their breast size.

The scheme claims to offer help to those who feel inadequate because of a bombardment of media images of big-breasted western women.

A specially trained troupe of bosom dancers will show women how to improve their bust without resorting to cosmetic surgery.

Dr Pennapha Subcharoen said: "Many women are not aware that wearing an appropriate size of bra and regularly taking bosom firming dance can make their wish come true.

"So we are training 12 pairs of instructors to teach women how to take care of their breasts and we plan to launch them on Valentine's Day nationwide."

Each dance team would consist of a small chested and a large chested instructor to provide bosom firming dance lessons at state-run sports centres starting on February 14.

Dr Subcaroen added that many imported bras were not suitable for local women and could lead to misshapen breasts.

This Dr. Bowen seems to have some sort of cancer of the mind. In this

case I would recommend a good Jewish psychiatrist. Dr. Bowen seems to fit

part of a pattern that I see -- mental illness among defrocked physicians.

For so many their self-esteem, their financial security, their very identity

is completely attached to their license to practice medicine, that when they

lose it, they act out by spuming hatred and paranoia.

Every list has to deal with an obsessive crazy from time to time. List

owners should quarantine them.

Hi ,

Since I have only been with the group for several months, and since you so

modestly did not introduce yourself or your credentials, I wasn't sure, when

I first read your posts, whether you are the famous cancer researcher who

works (ed??) with Dr.Filiberto Muñoz in the San Diego Clinic. But I gather

from several posts to you that it is indeed you.

Let me congratulate you for the great work you'r doing and wholeheartedly

thank you for your contribution to this group, and from what I witnessed to

other groups as well.

I generally try to speak only for myself, but I think I will be correct this

time to say that I speak on behalf of the entire group.
