Hi Ilena

I am a South African woman who survived silicone implants, but it was a long haul. I am also a publisher and a writer. I have written a 168 page book with photographs titled 'In my Quest for Beauty: My case against Silicone Gel Breast implants: A 21-year journey'. It will be published in South Africa in April 2003. I believe it is a very important book because it has a certain academic content combined with my personal experiences. It also discredits the very hi gh powered British Independent Review Group and shows what an absolute mess the situation is in Europe and South Africa as far as breast implants are concerned. It is also important because of the new FDA hearings on silicone gel implants this coming July.

Naturally, I would like to publicise its forthcoming publication as widely as possible and I wonder if you could give me some tips as far as the US is concerned. I am sure my experiences will create a lot of interest. I got your email address from the American Silicone Implant Survivors website.
