Guest guest
Hi , It sounds like you have the right idea about taking the detox slowly. I did my first fast 5 months after explant. That was after giving up on the rheumatologist who had no desire to treat me, deciding allopathic medicine was not the way to go and seeking out a naturopathic MD. He put me on a 3 day, water only fast, which I extended to 5 days because on the third day, I got a rash all over my scalp and breasts, and I was feeling really, really good! I didn't want it to end! Obviously, the fast was very effectively removing toxins from my body where they were stored, and that was in my head and in my breasts. (My brain fog was soooo bad!) After I did the 5 day fast, we took a short breather, and then he put me on a 7 day fast, again, water only. Actually, I take that back. It was water with lemon juice and maple syrup in it, also known as the Master Cleanse. But absolutely no food, and no other juices. I again got the rash. I read all I could about fasting, and after getting my amalgam fillings removed and doing some other cleansing therapies, I decided to go on a regular fasting program. I fasted between 3 and 10 days, water only, every few months. Each and every time I got a rash on my breasts, so I vowed to fast until I no longer got the rash on my breasts. I must have done between half a dozen to 9 or 10 fasts, with my longest one being 10 days with no food, only water. I was a challenging endeavor, to be sure, but I felt great. I'm attaching a picture to show you what the rash on my breasts looked like when I fasted. It is really strange, because you would think you would be so tired and lethargic on a fast like that, but that doesn't happen, at least not for me. The first two days on a fast are the hardest, and then it is like something kicks into gear and says, "oh yeah, now we're talking!" The digestive system gets to rest after years of endless food stuffing, and while the digestive system is taking a breather, your body and immune system get to work doing some serious clean up. You can feel pretty crappy on the first few days as your body starts to dump stuff, but after that, it seems to click into gear and you begin to feel light on your toes and clearer in your mind. It is an awesome feeling. I haven't fasted in awhile since I have been feeling so good, but I think after the holidays that will make a great New Year's resolution. I'd love to feel light on my toes again. I'm still eating Thanksgiving leftovers! Take care, ! Patty ----- Original Message ----- From: JULIEJJPALANCA@... I just thought I would take all the detox suplements first for three months, and take it easy, and then see if I should try it. The only problem is , I have my 2 year old son who realy eats the energy out of me, and have always worried about being realy fatigued during fasting. Do you feel that way when you fast? And how long do you fast? Do you drink just water, or do you have juices too? How many times have you fasted like in the last year? I know I should with all these toxins they found on my live cell, but it makes me a little nervous to try it. I will see if that book is at the library, and if not I will add it to my collection. Seems lately, the more knowledge I have on something, the more I am apt ot go for it. I have heard that sometimes you need to fast only a little in the beginnig, because all the toxins releasing can make you feel worse for a while(seems you always get worse while trying to get better)Did that happen to you Patty?
