Women complain of painful tightening and hardening of the breast that can lead to deformity or movement of the implant and may require more surgery. Other problems include loss of nipple sensation, painful rashes and numbness. Silicone is know to travel away from the breast. The substance has been removed from joints and internal organs such as the uterus, liver and spleen. Women with saline breast implants sometimes suffer from microbial infections when microbes grow in the salt solution. mmNational Silicone Implant Foundation | Dallas Headquarters"Supporting Survivors of Medical Implant Devices"4416 Willow LaneDallas, TX 75244-7537
