Guest guest
Hi all, Just wanted to say Hi and let you know that I am eagerly awaiting for my. appt with Dr. Feng for explant consultation on Feb 27th. I have a few more questions that I am thinking about, hopefully some of you can answer. 1. My implants are McGhan and were implanted in 1996. Someone had asked mt if they were implanted before the FDA approved them. When did the FDA approve these saline implants? Does anyone forsee a lawsuit for the saline implants just as there was one for the silicone? 2. ...I believe that you had the big infection that Dr. Feng found when she explanted you. Did you have abnormal bloodwork showing that you had the infection or was it just there? Did you have fevers or chills or anything to let you know that you had this infection or was it just found at your explant? Also, how long did your surgery take? I live about an hour and a half from Cleveland. Did you go home the same day or did you stay over somewhere? 3. I have read about how some people have swelling in the lymphnodes. Has anyone on this list had that? For a year now I have had this swelling go up and down on my neck...Have had 2 CT's....nothing is found...the swelling doesn't even show up. I am so tired of feeling like a sick hypochondriac fool... I am still feeling awful, and just got over (hopefully) a round with strep and pneumonia. I am so READY to have my life back. Tonght I am cooking dinner....if I think hard about it, I can literally say that I DO NOT remember when I cooked dinner last. Take care, in PA
Guest guest
, I had mentor Saline for 8 years, and before I was explanted I showed on a live cell anaylsis (where they put your live blood on a television to see the health of your body) , that I had candida overgrowth, and leaky gut (it is systemic fungus everywhere throughout your body) Yeast problems, (my son had this too terribly) very resistant. When it comes to viral: I recently had an outbreak of shingles, cold sore problems and before a Bells Palsy attack, which is also linked to viral infections. I have had numerous problems with yeast and viral. I also have Hashimots thyroid auto immune disease and Rheumatoid Arthritis, which both have been linked to infections. upon the removal, (which took 6 1/2 hours, as my capsules were embedded with nasty infections) my thyroid antibodies came down from 12,000 to 90. And bacterial as well: I recently has a positive mycoplasmal test for intercellular infection. I am now on the Road back Protocol with antibiotics, as well as DR Kolbs recommended supplements and eating lifestyle. Whenever I hear anybody ask about infections, , I jump! Do you blame me? Ha ha That is what my whole life has been about for the last few years, seems like the saline implanted women have the problems more to infectious diseases, and problems. And having them so long, I believe mine got out of control. I am feeling better since my 5 month post explant. Hope some of this helps. As far as suing anybody, good luck. I think that after 1993, consent forms were signed by patients receiving saline breast implants to cover the doctors/manufacterors asses. I do not remember signing one of these, and am still having problems finding a lawyer willing to take on a case like this, even with blood work tests, tons of them-of my auto immune diseases at my age of 27, and tons and tons of tests before with them, and after without them, proving I am getting better. I hope you have better luck than I am having. I keep telling my husband, we can get back at these lying manufactures without taking money directly out of their pockets through court, and just make sure to ruin their product by telling our stories on TV, radio, and newspapers. They end up paying one way or another, its all how you look at it! Good Luck to you. Love,
