Dearest Sue ... your letter mirrors so many I receive every week ... thank you for writing. I am forwarding it to some women who have active support lists and groups ... I feel sure you will get some good information. Best to you, Ilena

Subsequently, I had the reconstruction done with a saline implant. The implant 'floated' up to my collarbone and another implant was put in. This one also 'floated'. Obviously, the saline was not working for me. So, in 2000 I had 2 silicone implants done at Loma University in Calif. I have been very happy with the results and have suspected no problems. I recently moved to Tn. to be with my aging Father and in the first week of Nov. started feeling ill. I suspected the flu but the diharrea has persisted for many weeks. I now have numbness in my toes and impaired vision. I have been to 3 Dr.'s and they just 'scratch' their heads and prescribe another 'band-aid' medication. So, I have become my own diagnostician and saw your website letter.

Does the brief description of my symptoms sound like the silicone might be the problem? I will appreciate any insight that you can give me and then I can take it to my Dr.'s as at least a possibility. What is the test that they do to find out if there is a leakage in my system?

Thank you so very much for your help!!
