They are in a catch 22 with breast implants then, because they created the disease but will never admit to it, let alone treat it properly! They take our money and kick our ass out the door with an insult that "it's all in your head!" I'd feel much better if they at least acknowledged our problems. But, then again, if they did that, then they couldn't make all that money selling implant surgeries by the dozens, could they? So, they get us both ways, giving us implants, giving us disease, then letting us get on a medical merry go round of confusion. Boy, do they have that one figured out to their advantage!

THE CORPORATE-SPONSORED CREATION OF DISEASE

There is not much in medicine that is as shoddy as the alliance formed between doctors and the drug industry to construct new disorders. This even comes at a time when medicine is being portrayed as corrupt in the mainstream medical journals and when more physicians are becoming deeply ashamed of their professional calling.

This should come as no surprise to redflagsweekly.com readers who understand that modern medicine has been all-too-eager in joining forces with corporations that are driven by the endless search for new target markets.

In 2002, RFW often explored this theme and we thought we should begin the new year with a "red flag" about this emerging alliance, which is based on greed and disregard for human well-being. It’s an issue that needs considerable public scrutiny and response.
