Hi Cat,

Thanks so much for contacting our International Support Group for women to interview. I am passing your request on to some women with lists and support groups .... and to some of our women in Canada and Europe too. I hope they contact you.

Please let me know how it goes ... there are more women we can query if necessary.

The silicone manufacturers are pushing implants throughout Europe and in Latin America where I am right now ...so we feel it is very, very important to have the public made aware of the downside of these dangerous procedures.

Are you aware of the failed soy oil implants that thousands of British women had to have removed?

Please keep in touch.

Dear Ilena

I am producing a UK/USA TV documentary about the history of aesthetic plastic surgery and am keen to interview women who had breast augmentation treatments in the 1960s, 1970s or 1980s. I am interested in talking to people who had both silicone injections and early implants.

Please could you advise me of the best way to get in touch with women who were early plastic surgery patients?

I look forward to hearing from you and thanks for your time.

Best wishes
