Just to tell you a little aobut myself: I am 27 years old, and had saline breast implants, but had mine for 8 years. I found this wonderful site in the midst of realizing that maybe my illnesses were caused by my breast implants. Dr Kolb recently removed them about 5 months ago, due to many illnesses, such as hashimotos thyroditis, rhuematoid arthritis, bells plasy attack, viral infections, the symptoms could on forever: Hair loss, vision loss, poor memory, joint pain, dizziness, tingling in hands and feet, depression, itchy skin, neck pain, headaches, and so many more. My thyroid has had dramatic improvement on my blood work by the thousands since explant! I do feel better, but am now addessing addtional infection problems from the implants , so I am sure dramatic change will follow after I treat that. You will love Dr Kolb, she is wondeful! She had a great supplement and nutritional protocal to improve with after explant, based on the knowledge of her, and many well know doctors around the country. She is more than a doctor, and now a good friend. It has been over 5 months, and she and I still talk almost weekly. If I have a question, and need to page her, within 5 min. she calls me back with advise. You cant get that nowhere! She truely does care about each and every patient, and shows that with her time and care.

As for how they look, I love my breasts, suprizingly. I was b cup when I got them, went to a d, and am now a perky b again. I only have scars under the crease, where the original ones were, and was able to get a new type of lift within the same incision, without additional scars, such as on the nipples. She did wonders on my breasts, and I feel very natural, and am pleased with my old self again. Another girl, Crystal my good friend -comes on this site, she was also recently explanted. So maybe she will tell you her results with Dr Kolb.

I think that you are doing the wisest thing thinking about removing them. You havent had them long, so recovery should be even quicker for you. I wish I did a long time ago. I waited 8 long years for infections to become stronger in my body, and my poor immune system to be constantly worn down It took her 6 and a half hours to get them out"en bloc" as my capsules were so grossly embedded with infections from them. She even had to scrape them offf my rib cages. They realy were killing me, and I believe they almost did. If you ever have any questions, feel free to email me or Ill even give you my phone number if you would like. Good Luck to you!
