Finding a good plastic surgeon in Nevada has been a challenge. I have been accompanying a woman to various plastic surgeons in the Las Vegas area who desperately needs a proper explant, which would include a total capsulectomy and the use of drains, but so far, it has been to no avail. We are still searching, and our experiences have been quite disheartening. We have checked out the plastic surgeons that have come recommended by others, but the experience has been less than positive, such that I think that those who need explant in the Nevada area must travel to the San Diego or Los Angeles area. Ilena Rosenthal has recommended Dr. Gilbert Lee. I will advise you if Daryl and I do find a good plastic surgeon in the Las Vegas area, as we have another doctor we will see on Thursday. At this point, we cannot give a recommendation for any dr. in Las Vegas. The only doctors we can give confident recommendations for are Dr. Lu Feng in Cleveland Ohio, Dr. Kolb in Atlanta, Georgia, and Dr. Huang in Denver, CO.

Thanks to those of you who recommended plastic surgeons who were very helpful at explanting problem implants, either silicone or saline. We continue to get many requests for doctors names, and are continuing to make a list of names of doctors who are recommended by patients.

If any of you would recommend any board certified plastic surgeons in or near Las Vegas, or anywhere else in the country, please let us know if you haven't done so in the last few weeks.
