I understand that you went looking for someone in the military who would speak

out against the Anthrax vaccine. Doesn't the fact that no one would talk to you

about the vaccine tell you that they are afraid to speak out? Ask yourself, why

should any American be afraid to speak out on any issue. Isn't freedom of

speech the cornerstone of the bill of rights in our Constitution? Isn't it also

the basis for your professions success? The military is using threats of

punishment to silence dissention. We send troops to foreign countries when the

people living there have their rights violated. Who is going to to be sent to

protect the rights and lives of our troops?

The vaccine is not exactly enjoying world acclaim. The British stopped offering

it when they made it voluntary and over 70% of their troops refused to take it.

Soldiers don't refuse to wear their flak jackets and helmets when they go into

battle. They do everything possible to protect themselves. If there was really

a threat and the vaccine was an effective deterrence, don't you think that every

soldier would get in line to take it voluntarily? The troops in the UK, Canada,

and Australia are sick and dying from this vaccine too.

Here is what the Surgeon General of the Army, the lead service for the AVIP, had

to say about the vaccine:

" The Surgeon General of the Army testified under oath (Senate Report 103-97)

that the vaccine should be considered as a possible cause for the undiagnosed

illness in Gulf War Veterans. He also discussed

that fact that it is not proven to be fully effective in a biological warfare

scenario. "

Given that resounding endorsement from the person who should know--would you

take the vaccine? Go the American Gulf War Veterans Association web site (type

AGWVA in your browser) and read about the damage that has been caused to our

service men and women by the collection of diseases known as Gulf War Illness.

If the Surgeon General of the Army says that taking a useless vaccine could give

you a fatal disease, would you take it?

.. Anthrax is a weapon only in the small minds of military planners trying to

think up ways to spend your tax dollars. These are the same guys who told us

that the we faced a growing threat from the Soviet Union, ten minutes before the

wall came down. The same guys who sent April Glassby to Baghdad to tell Saddam

that we considered his claim on Kuwait to be an Iraqi internal matter--they

invaded the next week. The same guys (with help from the ever present CIA) that

told us that the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade was a Serbian defense establishment

building. I could go on indefinitely, but you get the point. Don't you think

that if Anthrax was a viable weapon, Hussein would have used the ones we gave

him against us when we had several tank divisions at the city limits of Baghdad?

There are often good arguments on both side of any issue. Not in this case.

This is the most pathetic fraud the military has ever perpetrated on the

American taxpayer. If, like the Surgeon General says, it turns out to cause

GWI, this could decimate our armed forces. According to the most recent

numbers, over 96 percent of the veterans who fought in the Gulf are now out of

the service. Most of those who were given the vaccine are sick and about

15,000 are now dead. I guess the military thinks that if people get sick from

the current round of vaccinations, they will just kick them out too and get a

new batch. After all there are plenty of mothers and fathers out there who will

entrust their children's lives to them.

I WOULD LOVE TO GO TO DC AND SPEAK OUT WITH A GROUP. DO THEY EVEN

LISTEN?? DO THEY UNDERSTAND AT ALL WHAT THE DOCTORS ARE DOING TO US?

DUE TO MY BREAST SURGERY I DIDN'T NEED, I GAVE UP 6 WEEKS OF BACK

THERAPY I HAD JUST STARTED. WENT TO THE NEUROLOGIST WED. AND HAVE TO

START THERAPY AGAIN NEXT WEEK FOR 3 WEEKS. IF THAT DOESN'T HELP,

THEY WANT TO PUT A NEEDLE AND DYE INTO MY SPINE. OUCH!! I DON'T

TRUST THEM. I WONDER IF THEY CAN READ AN MRI BETTER THAN A

MAMMOGRAM??????
