Has anyone tried these. They are made by Main Coast

Sea Vegetables and are certified organic.

TIA - Carol

Hi,

I love dulse! I've recently added this to my diet too. You can't go wrong -

sea vegetables are loaded with minerals. Also I believe sea vegetables were

eaten by many traditional coastal societies. I've found recipes on the web

for sautéing dulse in oil and also roasting it to make 'dulse chips.' Just

put in 250 degree oven for about 5 minutes and they should crisp up. Black

is burnt - they should turn a deep greenish red and be mostly crispy. Or

just eat raw as is.

To ,

Sorry it took me a few days to reply with thanksgiving and all!

I have not lost much if any mobility in my neck mainly because C6/C7 is so

low into my neck. My doc told me not to wait for the artificial disk

because I would not notice much change, but the surgery did not help as much

as I would have liked with my neck pain....I think because all the disks up

there are bulging and causing pain. I did have a full blown herniation, so

I needed to do it, just have concerns like all of us about fusing one more

level in the chain! Recovery was nothing like the scoliosis surgery or rod

removal. I wore a neck brace for 2 weeks and used donor bone so that I

would not have to have any more bone removed.

To Jolene,

Thanks for the advice on the burning, my doc wrote me a prescription for

neurotin and it's in my shelf unused because I'm a chicken. Did you have

any bad side effects. I want to try it soon, I travel a lot, and the

burning is driving me insane!

that is good news that if you have it done lower that you are still

able to have some mobility. I need to figure out which level he

plans to do. I am happy to hear that the recovery is quick too. I

am getting tired of this having one surgery after another. I had

revision surgery in September of 2003 then I just had the hardware

removed on the 18th. It is getting old really quick.

thanks for the info, I will keep it all in mind as I move to the

next stage.

Hi ,

I take Neurontin for the burning and it helps some but does not stop the

burning. In the beginning it made me a little sleepy but that side effect only

lasted a few days. I am taking 300mg twice a day.
