Guest guest
Hi, I haven't written for a while. I had surgery Dec. 5th to get the right implant removed and ended up getting another one put in. The reason, the Ins. wouldn't pay for me to get both inplants removed because only the right one was " ruptured. " Guess what, it WASN'T ruptured when he got in there. It was just a fold that showed up on the mammogram. I had unnecessary surgery. The Ins. ended up paying for it all, thank God. I argued with the Ins. Co. for 2 weeks trying to talk them into letting me get them both removed and NO MORE ever put in. What a mess. They just wouldn't let me do that. Now since the silicone rupture replacement, I have had a set of saline and now 4 replacement surgeries. Total of 6 implants!!! I am so stupid for getting more put in. I use the Mentor brand and they replace them for nothing. I think I should sue them for faulty materials. I am going to wait for the next real rupture and make sure the other one gets ruptured so I can get them both out and no more. Has anyone else had the same problem with the Mentor brand? Are they listed in the lawsuit? I am confused over all of this. Is this the same lawsuit that is in the silicone one?? I would like to hear from someone who has had the same troubles I have. Thanks, PJ
