Guest guest
Hey girls, I am looking for a bra that has convertible straps and/or a strapless bra that adds a size, either a water, gel or air bra or one that has a lot of padding, but that has the convertible straps. I want to be able to wear it with a strapless dress or tank style tops. I need to start thinking about clothes for my vacation and I know that you need to dress up for dinner on the cruise and also for dancing, I want to be able to wear some padding too, and most really good padded bras don't have the convertible straps. I do have a gel one that has the straps for a t-back, but not a halter dress and all the dresses I am seeing that I like are strapless or tank style or thin straps. I guess the only thing I liked about implants was the way clothes fit. Arg. any one with any suggestions please let me know. thanks
Guest guest
I , too, have a problem with bras. The ones with underwire's are torture. Didn't realize it had anything to do with my gallbladder. I have resorted to the camisole tops with built in bra--not as much support but a lot more comfortable. AND able to shed the shirt over them when not directly in the public eye while having a " hot blast " without looking totally obscene. Judith Hey - this may sound like a real dumb question, but does anyone have trouble > with the support wires in their bras causing pressure on their GB area? Sorry > guys, but this is a real pain in the ribs, right now. Any suggestions for > hoiking those mammies up without having to apply to The Swan for a lift job > would be greatly appreciated! Ahhh yes, I hear ya on that one, Judith. LOL One other suggestion from (and for the benefit of other women having the same deal here) was to snip out the underwires, so I'm going to have a session doing that and see if that helps. If I could burn the darn things altogether, I would! Blessings, n

I happened to be looking at a chart this afternoon since my GB was giving me a fit and I decided to lie down for a while after my Epsom Salt's toddy. The underwires are catching the liver reflex point. It is directly below the nipple about where the average bra would end. Add a little swelling in the liver from inflammation and you should have the undewire digging into that reflex causing all sorts of pain and pressure. I was looking at a chart of the reflex points and the neurolymphatics of the body in Donna Eden's Energy Medicine, terrific book of everyday exercises you can use for yourself or your family to promote health and deal with family health type occurences. It is also full of info for a massage therapist or anyone interested in that sort of info. Its well written, well researched and conversational. My only gripe ( which is really praise in a funny sort of way) is that it is SO full of info, it takes time to figure out where everything is so you can refer back to it when the occasion arises. But that being said, I think Craig at emofree.com explains where many of those points are since he uses them with his tapping therapy. I go braless a good bit (even though my knees get bruised a lot! LOL) but when I DO have to go out and HAVE to wear a bra I dont have any with underwires. I got tired of cutting the wires out and still not being comfortable so I only buy wireless ones now. Was getting them from Sears but discovered a few months ago that Walmart has practically the same thing so I get mine there now. What chart are you talking about?? Thanks!
