If you have virus software download the latest definitions and run a scan. If you need software go here, http://www.grisoft.com/html/us_index.htm and download their free virus software, plus they have help for removing these latest viruses. Always use virus software with updated definitions to avoid this problem.

Some of you might also be interested in a heuristic-based program that

doesn't need constant updating by signature files.

A friend uses MailDefense and is very pleased with it. I am

currently evaluating their Achilles' Shield product.

Info at:

http://www.indefense.com/

Also, if you have Norton AntiVirus, make

sure that it's heuristic feature is activated. I am using the

medium, recommended setting.

Lastly, Trend Micro has a free on-line virus-checking service called

HouseCall.

They are at:

http://www.trendmicro.com.

Daryl, How have you been? It was good talking to you last week, please call me when you get a chance. Or when is it a good time to catch you? I am praying for you during your flare ups. I know it is so depressing, esp with a little one. It's odd, Tyler was one, when I was going through this whole process, (I actually had my bell's palsy attack a week before his 1st birthday, and my husband is Italian- so there were like 50 people ther all asking me at his huge party "What happened to your face?????) I was also dealing with insurance and finding the best explant doc for me. I know exactly how you feel. Overwhelmed sound familiar? Just think, soon enough, you will be on your way to that big step to recovery, and we will all be rooting for you. Just remember that when you are having bad days. The worst will pass!

Hi

You sound like you are managing to deal with this in an amazing way and I take

my hat off to you. One day at a time is such a good way to think. I wake up each

morning with the thought that today is a new day. It really helps me to live in

each moment rather than get bogged down by the relentlessness that this

condition is all too often.

I too hope you don't need the SOS number and that your GP offers you some

support and a sympathetic ear.

I don't blame you for trying out the toast and butter - liquid and sloppy food

is all very well but I don't half miss chewing sometimes!!

Take care and keep pampering yourself. all my very best, Kay xx

precise than that. My swalloing remains the same as pre dilatation although not

quite as bad yet. Ate some toast with lashings of butter and managed about 6

mouthfulls before i had problems swallowing which didn't improve with tea. my

throat is not so painfull and the swelling from the dilatation seems to be going

down so i will refrain from phoning that SOS number that the hospital gave me

after the dilatation. I might still need it yet we'll see. I will take each day

as it comes and remain hopefull that i won't need to ring that phone number. I

still have to hiccup and gurggle when i swallow so i am not out of the woods yet

but we'll see. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers, they are much

appreciated. I have an appointment to see my General Practicioner on monday

morning for a review and to discuss what happened at the dilatation by then he

will have received the report of

In the USA we use English Muffins, I use the light one as it has more

fiber, 8 gm and 100 calories. I toast each half it well, not burnt, but dark

brown then put on a LOT of butter, let in sink into the holes, then again over

the toaster to get the butter to sink in more.

Then add a slice of cheese to each half. It gets sort of boring but works well

for me. I do it slowly, may take 15 minutes to get it down.

Also I have presented this earlier I sit on a reclining patio chair, outside in

Calif as most days are sunny, put both hands on my head top, then breath deeply

several minutes. I believe the breathing helps the lungs to expand and force the

food down. It has been reported that this operation may cause an arrhythmia.I am

still here as 14 years ago had a heart bypass!

I have this every day for lunch. And have a cold can of Coke with a lot of CO2

and brown beans mixed with butter and some water.

Hi Ray

Not feeling to bad today. How are you these days? Keep in touch. Had a bad night

refluxing on and off through the night. Had a mug of tea this morning which

gurggled on the way down. Don't feel like anything to eat yet, maybe later in

the morning. Not worried about this lack of appetite as i have a jejunostomy

feeding tube which i use for overnight feeds every night. I can only drink small

amounts of carbonated drinks as it feels like it is hanging in my chest too long

and gives me pain so i tend to stick to tea or a little squash/juice. I don't

know what to have for lunch as i will see what i fancy at the time.
