Subject: If you live in Washington and want spring to come Shop for Good on Wednesday

Dear Friends,

This is just to remind you that Bloomingdales is holding a benefit shopping day for us tomorrow, Wednesday, March 5. This is the time to chase winter away by "shopping for good!"

We still have free invitations available -- otherwise they cost $10 at the door to get the 15-20% discounts. Please share this with DC-area friends.

Best wishes,

Zuckerman, Ph.D.PresidentNational Center for Policy Research (CPR) for Women & Families

Benefits the National Center for Policy Research (CPR) For Women & Families,

Brain Injury Serivces, Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services, and Special Love, Inc.

Bloomingdale's has chosen the National Center for Policy Research (CPR) for Women & Families and three other charities for its annual SHOPPING BENEFIT. If you are in the Washington metro area, you can ‘shop for good’ this Wednesday March 5!

CPR for Women & Families is offering free invitations. An invitation entitles you to receive a 15%-20% discount on most purchases throughout the day. In addition, participating stores will feature live fashion events, special product give-aways, door prizes, musical entertainment, gifts and much, much more. And don’t forget to bring the kids-- there will be fun activities for children throughout the day. Bloomingdale’s Tyson’s Corner (VA) and Bloomingdale’s White Flint (MD) will feature a petting zoo, face painting, story telling, and puppet theater!

Bloomingdale's has made an initial generous donation to all participating charities. On March 5, Bloomingdale’s will sell invitations at the door for $10. We will send you a FREE invitation to the event so you may ‘shop for good’ on March 5. Bloomingdale's will contribute an additional $5 to the National Center for Policy Research (CPR) for Women & Families for each supporter that comes into Bloomingdale's Tyson's Corner or Bloomingdale's White Flint Mall with one of our invitations on Wednesday, March 5--- no purchase required!

The National Center for Policy Research (CPR) for Women & Families uses medical and scientific information to improve programs and policies for women, children and families. We provide useful health and safety information that helps families directly, and also help women, children, and families indirectly by advocating for better healthcare, safety net programs, safer medical products, and a safer environment.

If you'd like to ‘shop for good’ on March 5, please let us know.

If you would like to do even more for a good cause, CPR needs volunteers. If you are available to volunteer at Bloomingdale's Tyson’s Corner or Bloomingdale's White Flint on March 5, please contact CPR by emailing at gb@...
