Guest guest
I want to say that I am really pleased to see that the group has been so calm and even if it is a bit quiet it is nice to see that no one is arguing. I am wondering how everyone is doing? I am doing great, feel wonderful, been doing my usual working out etc, got my Christmas shopping almost wrapped up and now just getting ready to leave on a trip to Canada this weekend, we leave in the am and will be back late Sunday so I won't be posting for a bit. Hope everyone is doing well. Take care
Guest guest
Have a great time Patty. Blessings! ----- Original Message ----- From: Sent: Monday, September 08, 2003 11:16 AM Subject: Re: Ladies Good Luck on you mission Patty. Thank you for all your advice. I thought I would like to let you know I picked up the book "living Well with Hypothyroidism" I have come to the conclusion the two problems I have left to deal with are thyroid related since the implants are out. ( asthma type symptoms, tightness in my chest, no wheezing though and the muscle pains) I will be calling the doctors office today for a copy of my lab results from the endocrinogist. I know that if I did not get those bags of poison out of my system I think my thyroid would have gotten quite a bit worse. I have always had a slight goiter. The aches and asthma symptoms did not start until after implants. But I am getting a little better. Take care .............. I am so sorry about your troubles...we have several businesses too, so I can understand the turmoil you are in at this time. It must be quite overwhelming, but I trust that your faith in the Lord will sustain you. After all, His good word says that He will not give us anything more than we can bear. You must be a very strong lady! I know you are preparing for your upcoming surgery too, and that in itself is enough of a load, but you will be in the best hands you could ever be in with Dr. Feng. So, be confident. Everything will turn out just fine. I know that there are many here on our group praying for you.I just wanted to say that I don't know if I am going to find time to answer everyone's letters in the weeks to come. I am preparing for my mission trip to the Dominican Republic, as well as helping my husband with the preparations for opening our third business, so I am really under alot of pressure timewise. I have my family to think of too, and with a child in elementary school, one in middle school, and one in high school, I have my hands very full this year! I am going to have to count on all of you ladies really holding each other up, just like you have been.Rogene, you've been great! I appreciate you so much! And Kathy, you know from my personal emails that I think you are a real blessing to this group, even though you don't post much, your posts are so informative! S., P., , Kim, Colleen, there are so many of you that I am thankful for! If I didn't mention your name, please don't feel slighted, because the truth is that I think all of you are the most wonderful ladies...strong, intelligent, capable, and survivors!I'll be around, just probably not as vocal, but please know that I will be keeping all of you in my prayers and wishing all of you the best of health...I will do my best to keep up with the letters, and even though I may not respond, be assured that you all have a place in my heart. Of course, if anyone has a need to write me personally, please feel free to do so, and I will try to answer any questions that don't get answered in a timely manner on the group. Hugs to all, Patty
Guest guest
, That's a great book, and you will learn alot about thyroid issues. It seems that there is always more details to come to grips with in this complicated disease...always a dance going on with those thyroid meds! Yup, I agree, you did the best thing you could ever do by getting those blasted implants out...I am sure you will continue to get better. Stay on course and don't give up...it just takes time. Thanks for the well wishes! I feel very blessed to even be able to go. Patty > Good Luck on you mission Patty. Thank you for all your advice.
