Guest guest
Hi , I am sorry to hear about your situation. I, too, felt like an experiment! But your situation sounds a little different than mine. I have written to my group to ask them to write to you if they have any experience with what you are talking about regarding residual silicone. You should be hearing from several of the women, as I know several of them have had problems with residual silicone. I have heard of it coming out of the skin, and working its way through your body, hopefully to be excreted in some way. However, I have also heard that silicone does not like to leave the body very easily. I am certain that some of the women have had to have granulomas removed, or lumps of silicone that have hung around to make nuisance of themselves. Other than surgery to remove the silicone in your axilla lymph nodes, the only thing I can really suggest is to get into a very detailed and specific detoxing program in order to prompt your body into removing some of these toxins. I did want to ask, since you didn't mention, are you having any troubling symptoms as a result of this residual silicone? Were you ill from your implants? I will also invite you to join our saline support group, which has a number of women who also had silicone gel. I am sure you will find help there, including from our very knowledgeable plastic surgeon, Dr. Kolb. Dr.Lu Feng in Cleveland Ohio also is an excellent plastic surgeon who you may want to contact for more information regarding your situation. She deals with the effects of ruptured implants and the removal of loose silicone in a compassionate and skilled way. I wish you the best, and don't hesitate to ask more questions. There is plenty of information on the net now regarding the damage from silicone breast implants. I encourage you to look through the links that are posted on the saline support group.
