I normally live in San Diego, but am in Central America right now.

I agree with Lynda Roth from COSS that saline implants after silicone rupture is a VERY bad idea ... there's a very good article in Glamour magazine about this topic ...

Altho many women often go this route ... for example both and Sally Kirkland had 5 sets of implants EACH ... ultimately they will choose to get them out completely if they have any hope of regaining their health.

I am going to forward your request to some other women with support groups ... hopefully there will be someone you can interview.

Will you consider someone NOT re-implanting ... or undergoing reconstruction?

Some have what is called a mastopexy ... a lift when there implants are removed ...

Hi Ilena,

My name is Drew Newhard and I'm working on a plastic surgery show for VH1 in Los Angeles. I got your email address from the a woman at the Coalition of Silicone Survivors. We are attempting to find a woman who suffers from a disease due to the rupture of her breast implants and who is getting them reconstructed. As I found from talking to the woman at the CSS she explained that most women who get their breast implants removed do not get them reconstructed because saline implants are worse. I don't not know much about this subject so any information you have would be very helpful. If you know of any women who may be good candidates for our show please let me know.
