Kim, I really don't know what to tell you as far as saving money goes. I don't think there are many ways around the cost of removal. The number one concern I have encountered as a support group leader is this very issue of women getting sick and NOT having money to get the implants out. I know so many women who need explant and do not have the funds. The only thing you can do is to beg, borrow, or save it up. You will want to make sure that when you do spend the money for explant, you buy the best surgeon out there, who will remove all the scar tissue and not leave any behind. Leftover scar tissue can continue to elicit an immune response.

can someone reccomend a great surgeon in new jersey. I know I have one of the top surgeons in my area that put them in most recently, but i want other opinions, and also how i can save money. I really cant afford this.
