Hi Daryl,

In answer to your question, "What is my next step, besides eating right and taking my supplements?", I would say you need to start doing some heavy detoxing. I don't think you need to have more bloodwork done, as you have had tons of it done already, haven't you? I don't think you need to have your thyroid tested, unless you are positive they have not tested it thoroughly yet. I don't know what to say about the doctors, I guess that will be your decision. I gave up on Western medicine pretty much, and went totally alternative, and I got better doing this. I also saved myself alot of grief over insurance companies and health insurance, and just paid for the alternative stuff myself. (Some of it can get quite expensive, but there are also many cheap therapies you can do at home, like coffee enemas).

So, your next step, IMHO, would be to get on a regular schedule of detoxing programs. I myself started with a fasting program, and my naturopath wanted me to do coffee enemas at that time, but I was like, "DO WHAT????" I didn't do them, but I did do colonics with the fasting. I later learned the value of coffee enemas, and I think they would be very beneficial to you. You should also use your juicer and add juices into your daily diet if you can. You should exercise a little every day to get things moving through your body. You should drink lots of water to help flush your system. You may not want to do a full cleansing fast, but you can do a juice fast. You could also do a liver cleanse, (directions are in the files section at the website.) I have several books on cleansing diets you could borrow if you think they would be helpful to you--I know you have a hard time keeping up with the reading. Here are the books I have on cleansing:

7 Day Detox Miracle, by , ND

14 Day Herbal Cleansing by Vukovic

Dr. Jensen's Guide to Better Bowel Care: A Complete Program for Tissue Cleansing Through Bowel Management -- by Bernard Jensen;

The last one is very intense, and you need special equipment, but I know of women who have done this and swear it has made all the difference in their healing.

You should also follow Dr. Kolb's silicone treatment protocol as much as you can.

You should probably get on a schedule of B12 injections, ESPECIALLY since you have been a strict vegetarian for so long. Vegetarians are always at risk for B12 deficiencies, and our illness exacerbates this problem. You can get B12 in injectable form from Mexico--I gave you the form to order it, and you can get the syringes here at any pharmacy for about 30cents, so you should be able to get this. Of course it would be much easier if your doctor would give you a Rx for it, but it seems they are always very stingy about it. As Dr. Kolb just recommended, you should get 3000 mcgs a week.

I hope that helps, Daryl. If you are doing all these things, eating right, taking your supplements and detoxing consistently, then it is just a matter of time. Patience, patience, patience is the only virtue you must have now!

Hugs,

Patty
