Congratulations on your explant! I am also glad to hear you are feeling much better since explant. It doesn't always happen that everyone feels such an improvement right away, but I am always so happy to hear when women do. You are one of the lucky ones! Wow, it sounds like you had some very strange things going on from your rupture, and the seizure, yikes, that's scary! I hope you continue to improve in dramatic ways. Just remember that it is completely normal to have good days and bad days, and improvements aren't always constantly on the upswing, so just stay positive. We will rejoice with you as you heal!

That metallic smell from your body is also interesting. Metals are used in implant manufacture, in the shell, such as platinum, tin and a few others. Some women have high levels of platinum in their body from their silicone gel implants, and Dr. Kolb has a platinum detox listed on her silicone healing protocol. I am sure that as you detox, that will all go away. I had a strange rash on my breasts for months after explant that only showed up when I fasted. It doesn't happen anymore, but it sure took a long time, and many times of fasting until that stopped showing up. After that my improvements seemed to come much faster.

I even use that while taking a sitz bath. I had a discusting metallic like smell that came from my body. It was extremely strong! I had a massive seizure the next day and was in the hospital for 2 days. When I got home, I realized that my breast had leaked. I assume that the smell and the seizure are related to the rupture.I am still dealing with weakness from surgery and a little pain. I am running a fever of 100-101.6My right drain is 75 cc and my left is only 5 cc.On my own, I started taking cipro (an antibiotic) because of the symptoms.I'll keep you all posted on the days ahead.I want to thank you for this venue to speak about something we all share.Take care..... I wonder if they are supposed to be attatched to my body somehow instead of flopping about. One of them even popped open a few times and leaked all over me. One PS that we saw (Dr.Zamboni-LV) refused me as a patient because Patty and I asked if he would use drains for me and he didn't want to. I think that he was shocked that we knew what we were talking about.
